Moody Tree Farm offers a traditional family experience of choosing and cutting your own Christmas tree or high tech internet shopping for our handmade Balsam products, wreaths, garlands, centerpieces, etc. Our gift shop boosts a one stop shopping experience for the holiday season.
In addition to the trees and handmade items, we sell decorations and ornaments (some made locally and some not so locally), lights, tree stands, artificial garlands, etc. Gift giving can be made simple with handmade pillows, sachets, mug mats or homemade candles & soaps. Local Adirondack maple syrup, or any of our handmade balsam products make great corporate gifts as well as gifts for family or friends.
If you are looking for exceptionally large wreaths, custom lengths of hand tied garland or mantle pieces just call ahead and place your order. In addition to supplying many of the local businesses and Adirondack camps with trees, custom decorated wreaths, etc.; the Moody’s have made wreaths on 12 foot rings for Pier 17 at New York's South Street Seaport and custom heavy garlands for the NY Botanical Garden. The Moody family welcomes one and all to visit our farm during the holiday season. Children love the farm animals, as do most adults. If you cannot visit the farm most items can be ordered on line or via telephone order; we also have a seasonal store and tree lot located next to the 'Dack Shack in Lake Placid.
